"Illuminated Flesh" follows the story of Friar Alpha, a 13th century Benedictine monk turned tattoo artist. Beautiful color illustrations compliment the 12 page story chronicling his life in the scriptorium at Westminster Abbey, to his chance encounter with a pilgrim, to his life-changing pilgrimage to Jerusalem where he learns how to tattoo.

I've been januaried.
Hello friends,
I've been januaried. I had such plans, and then January rolled around and thwarted them all. It's sort of like being punked or beaten with a sandwich of the soggy variety: it's a certain flavor of frustrating and annoying mixed with the cold indifference of winter.
So I've decided to embrace the flight delay that is January and take you on a scenic tour of the Notes app of my phone. Enjoy.
